Danielle Gallant

Administration

Danielle Rice has over 30 years of experience in the New Brunswick special care home sector. She began working within her family-owned special care home at a young age and went on to build extensive experience in resident care, operations, staffing, budgeting, compliance, advocacy, and day-to-day management within a 24/7 care environment.

In addition to her background in long-term and special care services, Danielle also has experience working as a pharmacy assistant and understands the importance of medication management, client support, and compassionate care within the healthcare system. She is also a Certified Human Service Counsellor through PETL, further strengthening her commitment to supporting individuals, families, and communities.

Danielle currently serves as the Administrator for the New Brunswick Special Care Home Association (NBSCHA/AFSSNB). In her role, she supports members across the province through membership services, invoicing, communications, website and dashboard assistance, data collection initiatives, AGM coordination, advocacy support, and organizational administration. She works closely with operators, board members, government stakeholders, and community partners to help strengthen and advance the special care home sector throughout New Brunswick.
