John Grass

Board Member and Chair Executive Committee

John has been a resident of Riverview for the past 49 years and graduated Riverview High School in 1980. He then obtained his Bachelor of Science in 1984 and his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1986 both from Mount Allison University. While at Mount Allison, he played football on a team in his first year that didn’t win a game but later during his time there, played in the National Championship for Canadian University Football. He understands what it takes to build a winning team. John spent 12 years with the Irving group of companies before buying his first Special Care Home in 1998 with his Registered Nurse wife, Lynn. John and Lynn built their second home in 2019 caring for 36 level 3G seniors. Combined with two homes, they offer level 2 and 3G levels of care for 60 seniors. John and Lynn have 2 adult children, Sarah and Ben. Sarah is a Registered Nurse like mom and currently the Director of Nursing at a Nursing Home in NB. Ben is a Life Science and Healthcare Account Executive with Salesforce in Toronto. They also have 2 four-legged fur children as well, Charlie and Ted, both Golden Retrievers.
