Mazerolle Special care home is a licensed 26 bed level 2 home established in 1995.
Our home is located in the beautiful city of Dieppe which offers there residents a shared cost for accessible transportation to and from medical appointments and outings,Social develpment will cover medical trips. We are located on the city bus route and walking distance to corner store, tim hortons, church, mall and bowling alley.
Our home is a ground floor facility with wheel chair accessibility inside and out with large patios, outdoor green space for lots of flowers and veggie gardens and a beautiful breeze off the cool marsh.
The home offers homestyle meals and snacks that adhere to Canada's food guide along with special diets including diabetic, cardiac, nephrology.
The facility has lots of safety features with sturdy grip poles and transfer benches in all bathrooms along with a sprinkler system in place and monitored fire alarms with security cameras. We are inspected yearly by fire marshal office, public health and social development.
Our cozy living room has lots of windows, big screen TV and leather lazy boy chairs. There is an activity room with internet café set up for virtual visits, computer time or cards.We even have a house Gmail account. We have a full service hair and nail salon and a lazy house cat named "Bonnie".
We offer personal care, laundry services, cleaning, medication dispensing and diabetic management and care. Along with support from Extra-Mural nurses who are in our home daily as they are part of our person centered care team .There are lots of activities both inside and out. Staff are dedicated, love their job and have met or exceeded all social developments hiring requirements.
